Visita (Part 2) - Here is a second part to such "usual" fact, where the parents are "good sports". Note that sometimes such comprehension is appreciated.
Visita (Part 1) - Does anyone experienced similar things like this? Or whatever close? Tell us about your case here!
Bed Tales - Storing Algebra notes in a porn magazine is NOT an incentive to study. Given the natural revulsion that things have for Algebra, hiding notes anywhere would produce the opposite effect, and by hiding Algebra notes in erotic magazines and websites one could put an end to international wankerism. From here, a greeting to all those who have tried this technique. However, if one suffers from Algebraphilia, this situation loses its original meaning. A certain person around here (who is not me), loved Algebra so much that he repeated it throughout its selective phase (first year). Later, this person would become the reincarnation of the Eternal Repeater, of whom I will tell you about just another day.
Example Exercises - Example exercises have a fundamental problem, and that is that they are always wrong. You can try to make the exercises like shown in class, without adding up in the end. And the worst thing is that you will have it correct, but you will never know. Normally, example exercises are copied from the blackboard, but some parts of it are taken as obvious by the teacher, or you have not been able to copy them completely, or you have copied them but without having any idea what the teacher has doing at a given point, or you have copied them too quickly and you do not understand what you have written down.
Tip of the day: Never rely on an example exercise. Furthermore, if you know people who distribute or create example exercises, don't hesitate to report them to the police. If you find yourself in a situation where you rely on example exercises, don't hesitate to call Emergencies.
Osu! Tatake! Ouendan! - A long time ago, approximately 9999 years, I went to Japan, that's kinda far away, and bought the two Ouendan games for DS (Ouendan is like the original Elite Beat Agents from Japan). Then, we all proposed to dress up as Ouendan characters, and go around the Faculty lecture halls encouraging people, especially at exam time, with music and choreography. In the end nothing was done, because people are quitters.
Nothing... - Not long ago, but not so much, just about three years, everyone was silent in Revistes' office. Suddenly, Romà (you know, from "Distorsió"), came in shouting "I know nothing! I know nothing!", to which Kescuin (also from Distorsió) joined in shouting "I know nothing!". In the end, no one went to that exam.
Alert: Asking somebody about what exactly happened can lead to the anecdote of that photo from Eki (you know, from "Distorsió") and the sudden appearance of m0d (already famous, you know, from "l'Oasi").
Satisfaction - A common thing is to find couples getting some fresh air in the green we have at Campus Nord. However, this space is open to the entire neighborhood, both in access and vision, and that prevents 'snu-snu' stuff as usual activity. For that, there is a space behind the Nexus building, inbetween it and a concrete wall. You can't see what's going on there unless you go to pick your motorcycle from the parking lot, or if you work inside the building, whose walls are tinted from the outside in (only).
Lambda (Episode 1) - Few people can get a '10' in an assignment, except if they are hugh nerds, they have no life, or they had lots of luck (If you are in this situation, beware! You could be in danger!) However, it can also happen that somebody works a lot and gets a 10... If you are one of those, check the gade list and be sure that all the idiots that made fun of you got a '0. Then enjoy revenge. The revenge of the nerds!
Party Hard - The problem with publishing grades was that grades were published at 11:55 p.m., while exam revision took place the next day at eight in the morning. If you didn't have Internet at home you were doomed. The Racó (news board) allowed many teachers to use this to prevent people from going to exam revision. When grades were posted on some physical bulletin boards, in a cork placed under the canteen, it was still possible to ambush the teacher at the time of grades publication (I also saw it!)
Let's Get A Party Going - A long time ago, about 4 years or so, people who studied in this degree didn't have Internet at home (True! I was there!). At that time, at the "PCeras" of the A5 building, we had computer terminals called SunRay where you could connect to the Internet, be able to see your next class, see the spontaneous warnings of the Racó (news board), and see the grades at the time of their publication. Crowds of people made to the terminal to inquirie things at rush hour. It was worthy of admiration how an entire ILO course (Logics 101) concentrated in that corridor, while the people in the terminals read aloud the grades, asking for the ID number beforehand, of course. It was in front of the terminal monitors where, in the middle and end of the semester, victories and defeats were celebrated.
