I\n wanted to draw more pose and reaction stuff, and I started a series \nwith the awakening shock of a guy turned into a curvy squirrel girl, \npassing through the those \u201cstages of grief\u201d (\u201csurprise\u201d, \u201cdenial\u201d, \n\u201canger\u201d, \u201cbargain\u201d, \u201csadness\u201d, \u201cacceptance\u201d, \u2026). Here\u2019s the surprise and\n denial ones to begin with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I stumbled some time ago with a panel from a guy called Terai Daikichi with the first reaction pose (Pixiv: https:\/\/bit.ly\/2l3QwVz<\/a>),\n and I wanted to \u201cfurry it up\u201d. Then I did some homework going through \nthe Internet across media and fanfiction, and discovered that this \n\u201cgender\/body\/identity swap\u201d topic is actually an extremely popular \ngenre, far from popular shows and movies like \u201cRanma \u00bd\u201d, \u201cYour name\u201d, \n\u201cFreaky Friday\u201d, etc. Finally I got lost inside tvtropes reading about \nthis topic and related tropes.
