Central Poster (L'Oasi, Part 3) - [TRANSLATION NEEDED]

Operation Best-Bunny – How's it going, FIBers and Outliers? Have you all received your dose of summer caloret? Campus Coordinator informs us that this August they leave us without air conditioning (and without running water). That we have to save, and that. So we have "forced vacations" in August, and whoever wants to work should do it from home. I will be traveling the world on a work trip, on a tour of Oceania. If any of you are also down-under, tell me something!

The Incredible Miss Bunny (who does everything at FIB) - How are those holidays (those of you who are studying) going? I'm already preparing mine, and I'm also preparing the next JRS story arcs (apart from this one). Taking advantage of the vacation weeks, I'm going to try to advance strips to be able to offer a greater frequency, at least until Christmas.

Award Ceremony - Back again from vacation, and here with the last translated comic from JRS. Officially, the name of the Rat Girl will be Linda Ratowsky (Some day I will tell you the adventures of the Rat Girl from the FIB).

This comic goes to that man on Barcelona in charge to announce the world about “The Simpsons: Marge vs. the Monorail” being aired on TV.

Try harder next time – ... And so, boys and girls, I make up character names as I go!

Keep Bunnying! – Dang it! I wanted to update two weeks ago, but suddenly “Undertale” and its lore, artwork, fan-art, music and own TV-tropes page appeared, and got me trapped until today!

Bunny Closure – Another update of JRS! This one closes the current story arc, and starts the next one, centered in Roy Firefox. Bad jokes belong to old comics from L’Oasi Magazine by Oscar Torres’94, talking about women in our Faculty (back in the 90′s there was also a lack of them).

Regina Fanfic Firefox – How is it going? Here’s a new page for JRS! It had to be released last week, but I got lost in Ireland and couldn’t finish its details. This is a new story arc with Roy as a protagonist.

The ‘Bunny Gym’ Plot – Quick update! Here’s a new page for JRS! This time the story will be published in shorter deliveries, to make it quicker! Also, I‘m returning to the essence of 4 panels.

A Hot Shower – Yet another JRS strip in short format! This one has been properly censored thanks to that vapor cloud that conveniently appears in hot showers when intimate parts should remain hidden to protect the young audience.

Bunny Apologizes – Bad bunny! You don’t harass people! Now go to the thinking corner until you realize what you did wrong!

One of the guys – Surprise update! I wanted to post it before, but my ISP let me down and I became Internetless. I had to waste my time watching regular TV! It’ll take some time for me to recover from those dramatic moments…!

UML Bunny Diagram – This weekend I’ve been writing a research paper while drawing today’s strip. In case you start reading AI stuff at mid strip, think that a reviewer is reading weird stuff when reaching the “methodology” section.

Carrot Dispatcher – Here we are again, another issue of the Roy and Gem story arc, with more silly innuendos about bunnies and carrots. The “hares and rabbits” stuff had more sense in Spanish, but it got lost in translation…

Nutty Visitor – Hey! Here we are again, with another strip, and Anne Squirrel is doing her re-appearance! YAY!

Last Interesting Session – This one arrives late, as I hurt my hand and I can’t draw fast enough now. Let’s see what my physician says about this… It’s a pity because I was about to finish another brief of Starla Bunny, and it will have to wait a little bit…

Meanwhile, another one with Gem and Roy!

A “Draconian” Present – Here again with another strip of JRS, while vacations end in a few days.

How to Kink your Bunny – Another update of JRS! This time featured by “The Samoan” as Dr. Amorós (Dr. Loving), a character from a podcast we used to do in the Campus Radio.

The Instructions – And another JRS update, where Gem and Roy attempt to prepare Johnny’s night with Steffy.

Versalles I – There’s a pub, in the restaurant’s street in front of Campus, called “Versalles I”. Here, all the peculiar people from the neighborhood, the four soldiers from the spanish army near Campus, and the student troubadours from the 90′s.

During the student years, the people from Revistes Campus Nord went to that pub to collect fries with ketchup and mayonnaise by tons, then resist all night at Campus. Then we lost part of our remaining health.

Girl’s Pub (Part 1) – Here we are again! This time, some Gem’s plot.

The Campus Nord is placed in the outskirts of the city, and has some night clubs surrounding it. One night we discovered one where, on Thursday evenings, they did Girl’s-Only Night. The more we knew!

Girl’s Pub (Part 2) – Some drama today… Sorry!

Back once, as students, when returning home at evening, we crossed with all the teenagers going to the pubs and discotheques. And among all the people in the street, the teenagers always asked us about the pubs: the “liquid”, the “Elephant” (the one with the gals only night thing), and more. Maybe we looked as the ones knowing what was going on there… (?)

Squirrel Help (Part 1) – Yeah! Here we come again!

Near the campus we have two parks, the “Cervantes Park” and the “Royal palace park”. Both are open to the public until late, and the second is the official HQ of the “Union for the Mediterranean”. Also there are jazz concerts at night. All surrounded by lots of police vans.

Regina Cosplay – Yeah! How’s this new year going?! I’m still on “vacation”, but actually preparing the classes for the next semester (also writing assignments and exams, to have everything ready).

So, here’s another issue of JRS!

The Pony Girl – Ha! I could update before Monday is over, thirty minutes before the end of the day (Central European Time).

P.D.: I need a name for that “Pony” girl.

Casal’s Night (Part 1) – ¡Late Update! (I wanted to post on Monday, but it was impossible…)

[From “casalpedia” Greskero: n.m. (”greskera” n.f.) Kind of a being, sometines similar to a person, commonly found in the association “TelecoGresca”, in charge of the spring festival at Telecommunications, and pull the trees of the Campus when drunk.

Panda Confusion – This strip was inked using a Microsoft Surface. It is quite handy for sketching, but when drawing the definitive line-art, the Ugee (~cintiq) has better sensitivity, and does not produce so much aliasing as the Surface.

This issue has “Koopa, The Radioactive Turtle” as invited guest.

Casal’s Night (Part 2) – Monday update In-Extremis, 3 hour before Tuesday (CET)!

Lesbian Superpowers – It is well known at the Faculty that Lesbians (and not-straight girls) have cognitive powers above the usual, and are able to tell if you have an expired yogurt in your fridge, if you had to make a new hole in your belt recently, or if tonight somebody approached your nether parts.

I’m getting the next saga ready, where all happens around the “FestaFIB”.

Have a good week, and see you the next one!

Rebuilding FestaFIB (Part 1) – Yesterday was festivity in Barcelona, so I couldn’t have time for finishing this one (so I did it today).

The FestaFIB (our Spring Festival) is prepared by the committee, and all the associations join (even the ones from “Jedi”, who were underlings of level -7).

Call for Gibbs – Hi everybody! How’s been the weekend? Everything OK?!

This strip was going to be the first of the “Bring him to the FIB” arc, where wacky post_tag will appear during the FestaFIB preparations.

Gibbs Blasts Off – Hi again! This is an update before going to sleep! Have a good night and a good week!

New Semester – Hi all of you there! Everyone just went on vacation! There’s nobody on The Internets, as everyone is in the beach, taking photos, to upload later into The Instagrams!

…And I still have a week before leaving!

Meanwhile, here’s a new JRS issue

Basic Lessons – Every time is a good time to bring up Steffy eating an ice pop (A “Calipo”, typical from here, pure flavored ice), even that was not intended as any kind of “fanservice”, I swear.

This publication has been automated, because I’m around the world right now. If you have any comment, leave it after the signal. BEEEEEP!

Leader Duties – Here we are again! Another week, with another strip!

Is the world still existing? We had a very “interesting” week here at home, and I don’t know if the rest of the world is still there. Let’s see if we survive this next week!

The Keys – Hello world! This week has been a non-stop, preparing a project for the EU. Now I could sit for a moment, and draw something!

Let’s see if we reach next week! See you!

Cyclic Probabilities – Hello again! Here we have another issue of JRS! This time with extra maths!

Demand for Squirrel – Hop! Last-hour Monday Update! How’s everything going? Good?! We’re getting ready for Christmas here. Also, getting ready next issue of JRS!

Free Pizza Party – Hi everyone! I’m back, after two weeks of exhausting work.

This issue is based on real events, with rel pizzas, and real discounts. We didn’t pay anything for the 30 pizzas, and we still had codes for some weeks. Domino’s BlackJack Pizza learned not to ask for promotion websites to stingy consultancy firms.

The guest tar is “Rino Rodríguez”, one of the artifice of the pizza party.

P.D.: Happy holidays (that festivity/celebration that represents you the most) to everyone!

Get a Room – Hi everybody! How’s new year going? Tomorrow I have to be back at the lab, so officially Christmas Holidays are over.

Going Down – Hop! A last-minute Monday (CET) update!

Today I have not much to tell you (but as always, I never have anything important to tell you, so everything’s fine!)

Bunny Hunt – Hi again! Another week, another strip!

The 3rd basement is the most famous in the Casal (Student House) for intimating. Basically, it is not easy to reach, because there’s a metal door hiding the stairs. Also, basement 2 is more accessible but dirtier, and it’s near the RPG Club and the Robotics Club; it’s easy to get caught.

Bunny Escape – Here we are again! I realized that soon JRS will have 10 years (counting with the original version at HERE), coinciding with the 400th issue. I have to thing something for the occasion.

Pizza Party Wrap Up (Part 1) – Monday Update! (In extremis! Here it’s 23:55)

Just got busy this past week, spending my free time with that “Doki Doki Literature Club” game and its lore. Meaning that I couldn’t sleep, so being useless during the morning.

I had time to think about the next story arc, beyond issue 400.

Cleaning Party – ¡Hi again! Today I’m talking about “El Xollo”, the Civil Engineering’s Faculty magazine, as “l’Oasi” is from Informatics and “Distorsió” from Telecommunications. Few people have seen them, as they appear once a year, they hit the magic button for “make magazine”, and then disappear. Their mascot is a “water drop” (?), that once was drawn on cardboard for promoting the magazine. But nobody takes permanent care of that cardboard figure, and it goes from hand to hand traveling the campus, clubs and associations. Today it sits in the Civil Engineering’s Canteen.

Designing l’Oasi – Hi again! Everything OK at home?!

A classic from l’Oasi, that design time where articles are put, images are places, and pages are composed; everything without any hint from the “old ones” on how to use Aldus Pagemaker Adobe Pagemaker Indesign.

Another classic is to debate whether or not publishing the magazine digital, or keep it being printed. Each new generation discusses the same, and never is carried on. Meanwhile, each issue has less volumes printed, as nowadays nobody seems to like printed magazines anymore (only the teachers seem to buy that).

Morning in Campus Nord – Hi again! I’m here again, with a new chapter of JRS “L’Oasi Needs You!”

(‘Morning in Ponyville’ was what I was singing in 2013 around the Campus when I only had to write down my thesis)

New people – Hop! Secret Thursday update! I’m going back to a simpler format, also I currently have less time to do stuff.

The Fanfic Duo (Part 1) – Secret update of late Monday! How are you doing? Could you celebrate the Castanyada/Todos los Santos/Día de los Muertos/Halloween? I did some “panellets“ at home.

Sweet Dreams, Regina – Hellooooo again! I’m back here with a new issue of JRS, with extra censorship. Even if nothing could be seen, I’m not the one perverting your minds through illustrations with sexy results.

Can we fix it?! – Hop! Monday late update! How’s everything at home? Here we’re a little bit overwhelmed with work and stuff. As I’ve been explaining the past days, with all this Tumblr lock-down thing, I started my own “evacuation protocol”:

1. I created a Twitter account: Enlace (<- follow me follow me follow me). I’ll publish there the illustrations and links to JRS issues, in parallel to tumblr.

2. I’m setting up self-hosted blogs to save everything: SenseTomaquet and JRS-comics. When it’s decent to visit, I’ll share here the URL and the RSS!

3. I’m thinking how to automate everything, to not upload everything 99999 times in 99999 different social networks.

4. Also, I’m thinking to open a Deviantart account or similar (Furaffinity…?), as I observed that Twitter is too much “frenetic”. (Now I realize they screwed a perfect social network for my things).

If you have comments or suggestions, they’ll be welcomed! Thanks to all of you,

El Pitiflí

Sex-Friends – Hi again! I’m back on Monday Wednesday, with a new update of JRS!

With the Tumblr catastrophe, I built a website (https://www.maiuscomics.com/)[https://www.maiuscomics.com/] with parallel blogs (JRS in english, and the multi-purpose illustration blog), in case Tumblr ENDS©. I still have to arrange lots of things on the page, but that’s what I could finish within the rush.

Linden Pub (Part 2) – Hello again! Here I bring another JRS issue, with Bill and the places in the uptown side (just next to the Campus).

Linden Pub (Part 3) – Hello again! Everything OK? Here we are again, with the “Los Tilos” Pub, but this time with Steffy in action.

Finish Moskovskaia (Part 2) – Here’s another issue of JRS, after a blank week, because of work and stuff.

Once ended the “MisadventureMay” Twitter challenge, I’m supposed to have time again to draw JRS stuff… :_D

Half Joking – Ha! Secret update at Wednesday Midnight! You never expected my cleverness!

At the “Telecofarra” (autumn party at Electric Engineering) there was this tradition of making stickers with kinky or even offensive motifs, and sticking them on people. One of the classical ones was “I f*ck at 100MHz”. All brought to you by Distorsió, the EE. Magazine, neighbors of l’Oasi.

Intimate Robots – Hello hello! Here we are again, with a new issue of JRS. This strip should have been ready for tomorrow, but with this and that I ended it tonight past midnight. Also with some urgency, before the moving trucks arrive tomorrow (I’m returning to my old neighborhood :D) and leave me without drawing screen for some days.

Mammal Emergency – Hello hello! I’m back from vacation, and here is a new JRS strip. This week I’m trying to advance some stuff because I’ll be working around for the next months without stopping for a second.

Meanwhile, here’s some Steffy and Johnny!

Mammal Demand – Hi everybody! This is an update from the “New World”. As I’m traveling right now, I’m trying to do the next issues using my tablet (Surface), and let’s see if they look good.

Now, I leave you with Steffy and Johnny!

Looking for a Job – Good afternoon! Second issue drawn at the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. This time it is about the now closed campus copy center. All the notes and textbooks (when in paper) were available there, and it was run by students. It was said that the guy ruling the cooperative (some day I’ll talk about him), majorly hired girls with big breasts, something that couldn’t be proved but also not denied…

Not For Hire – Hello, hello! Another week here, another JRS issue, this time from the most picturesque New England.

The Campus copy center was managed by students, but the guy driving everything (and the big printers) was a guy in a basement of the Campus, totally devoted to the business (and big cup girls). Aside of the girls, once they hired a guy who played the guitar in front of the cafeteria, every evening at 18h. Some day we’ll talk about that guy too.

The Cluster (Part 2) – Hello! I’m back at home in Barcelona, and here I bring the last JSR issue, prepared before packing my stuff.

Casal Stories: The famous “Cheetos-Eater” got 10 machines (this is four times 2.5 machines, and this is terrible) from the Student Council, to build a cluster for his association (in which he was the only member). It was suspected he hid pornography, but not in the same levels of sophistication than the Linux-UPC association. He brought the electric grid down every time he started the cluster.

The Tickets (Part 2) – Hop! Wednesday night update! With all the mess of this month and week, and that yesterday I started inking over the wrong layer (and I had to start inking again…), that I missed all deadlines!

The “Fake Llimoner” and “Esbart Away” come from my friend Marklar and his theory that you can create a hipster trendy pop group joining a Catalan name and an English name.

The Tickets (Part 4) – Hop! Monday update! This time with some “fan art”, as I needed a supporting group for the “Fake Llimoner”, so I drew a real group with one of their songs (translated to catalan). 100 mini-points for those who guess which group and which song is it supposed to be. The solution, in a moment…

P.D. I only could fit in the strip three of the four members of the band, so later I’ll publish the image with the four members.

The Tickets (Part 6) – Howdy! We’re here again, with a somehow explicit update (I’m sorry!). We’re back with the two concerts of Fake Llimoner and Esbart Away, this time with Roy, Gem and Pony.

The Tickets (Part 8) – Hop! Good night update under lock down. A few days ago the Government of Catalonia ordered everybody to stay at home, and here we are since then. I just went out the other to buy some groceries, and discovered that somebody emptied the stock of toilet paper.

Meanwhile, some JRS comics!

The Tickets (Part 10) – Hop! Monday update on time! I’ve been 19 days without leaving home, no more than for taking the garbage out and buying food at the mini-market down in my block. And there’s still 12 more days of official lock-down (for now…).

Meanwhile, we’re out of the Fake Llimoner and Esbart Away concerts!

CopyTrap (Part 1) – How’s it going? Here we are still watching everything through windows and television. That, and we’ve another JRS comic!

CopyTrap (Part 2) – Hi! Today I’m doing a late night update, as I’ve been in a “virtual lesson” until now. I have no voice after being 3 hours talking stuff…

Here I bring you some Pony and Gem. See you!

CopyTrap (Part 4) – Hello and welcome! This is a Wednesday Midnight update… that should have happened on Monday…

The CopyCenter in our Campus was managed by a curious guy, that mastered a lot of printing machines in a basement under the Campus, and barely left that place. Not like in the Comic (that it’s fiction and dramatization), he never did anything wrong to his employed girls, but just had preference to hire girls with big butts.

For many years, the CopyCenter sold the notebooks of every subject, until that day that they were on-line, and as people started having laptops nobody printed them again. If you went there the first day of the semester, you just gave them the list of your subjects, and they returned you the corresponding pile of notes and dossiers. But they stopped printing that much, and with the economic crisis, the rent went up and they had to shut down 🙁

CopyTrap (Part 6) – Hello again! Another week, another update on late Monday, before midnight. Here you have an issue with lots of pasta. 😀

The Query (Part 2) – Another week here, another week locked down at home, with the summer upon us. And in this strip, more SQL query!

Market Dangers – Hello and welcome another week! Here’s another real story about the weird people of the Campus, 10 years ago. The guy that dared to do this to the magazine’s vice-president’s girlfriend was expelled from every association, for being an idiot. Good night!

Celebration Dinner (Part 3) – We’re back here, with a night at the Toreros. That place is a “restaurant for groups”, with cheap food, cheap beer, and a tourist trap and Erasmus students. Every time we sold the magazines we went to that place because they let us to do some fuzz… until we did too much and they kicked us from there. So we didn’t go back, and looked for ther place (e.g. El Puma or the Merendero Campechano). Once older we settled at the Salamanca, where we’re returning after the pandemic.

Celebration Dinner (Part 5) – And we’re back with more stuff! Last week I couldn’t finish the comic strip as I was with other tasks, but today I did! I leave you here with Anne and her issues.

Celebration Dinner (Finale) – Friday night update! This is the issue 500, closing this chapter! Now I’ll take some vacation days, to finish some business (a DnD game and additional assets for my MSX game), and then I’ll be back with the next chapter.

Good night everyone!

Breakfast Couple – Ta-da! I’m here again, after ##### weeks without any update. AS things are right now, I’m drawing at my own pace.

I leave you here with Gem and Pony. (This morning is getting too long, due to the “Webcomic Time”)

Councils and Delegations – Hop! We’re here again! Today’s holiday in Catalonia (Saint John), and I took the vacation for finishing this strip. It was waiting for inks and colors for 5 days.

I leave you with the first issue of the Thread #1 of “Night at FestaFIB”.

Rep. Steffany (Part 3) – Surprise update! I just returned from vacation, and started drawing some strips again. Everything OK around the world? Did you survive the heat wave? Here, by this much!

Meanwhile, here’s Gem and Steffy surviving the “Apocalipsis Campus”.

Preparations (Part 2) – Hello again! Here’s another strip 😀

(I just want to say that “The IT Crowd” is one of the best modern TV shows I watched, and love every bit from there)
