Character: Bill
Conspiracies (Part 1) – Hi again! Today is the biggest festivities of Barcelona. (yay!)
Bill, from the IEEE student branch, enters in scene. For those who ever come to our Campus, the room with a door on the ceiling is A5S101, two labs from the Operating Systems lab (group 21).
Conspiracies (Part 2) – Hop! Emergency update at Monday late that’s almost Tuesday! More things that happen in an Operating System’s lab!
Also, I checked lab A5S101… and they covered the “ceiling door” with a panel! I’ll have to ask my friend Will (a guy who had a section called “conspiracies from UPC” [what a coincidence…]) if he still has the photo.
Little Endian – Hi again! Another JRS update here!
This is something silly I had in mind since long ago, and I never found anyone who didn’t see it not silly.
One GIT – Hi! Weekly update on time. everything OK?
Long time ago, William H. Sola uploaded to the servers from Revistes C.N. all the solved assignments of the Telecom major. Since then, and until the change of study plans, the students copied those assignments because the teachers didn’t change the exercises. Some students even left the name of Will in the exercises. Those assignments were one of the many things hosted in the server farm we built in the R.C.N. office.
The Linden Pub (Part 1) – Hi everybody! How’s the return to work after Christmas? Enough of family dinners?
I bring here another JRS issue, with the “Los Tilos” Pub, a place around the campus, from before the Campus existed.
Linden Pub (Part 2) – Hello again! Here I bring another JRS issue, with Bill and the places in the uptown side (just next to the Campus).
Linden Pub (Part 3) – Hello again! Everything OK? Here we are again, with the “Los Tilos” Pub, but this time with Steffy in action.
The Linden Pub (Part 4) – Hop! Here we are again! This time with the story of the “bitchwatching”, where we escaped from Campus to have some “bravas” at Bar Tomás (in Sarrià, uptown Barcelona), and later we spent some time in front of a “famous” brothel from there, to make uncomfortable its clients, while we ate “churros con chocolate” from a nearby “churrería”. I just added the “points” thing to insert some kind of “Bamboozled!” game.
Bravas Tomàs – Hi again! I’m back, with new issues of JRS. Last week I was too busy to finish this one on time.
This issue happens at Bar Tomàs, in the old district of Sarrià. They say they make the best Patatas Bravas of Barcelona, and that’s the place where the king of Spain (the old “casual”, not the new “granny-killer”) went frequently. Actully, ithe place is a tourist trap, and those Bravas are not that good.
The Legend of Moskovskaia (Episode 3) – Hop! Monday update at the last minute (Central European Time)! How’s been going this Easter? (I didn’t even have tie to draw bunnies and stuff, that I know it’s typical from the Americas or something…! And I don’t know why yet…! But it’s OK…!) Here I’m finishing things in the last moment, as ever, so everything in order! See you!
The Debate for Moskovskaia – Hello hello! This issue is 3 days late, because it took more efforts that I though (even being that simple), and because I’ve been working in the “MisadventureMay” (you can check my Twitter @SenseTomaquet).
The debate happened, but the machines remained in their place. But things didn’t end there.
Finish Moskovskaia (Part 1) – Hello hello! I’m back (with 1 day of delay) for the next JRS issue! It all starts with little taps on the machine, and it ends as it ended.
Bill Advice - Hello! I’m back after a week with the computer having lots of trouble…. First CSP started working weird, then the Surface deteriorated and started to flick more than usual… But finally we have new JRS issue!
Bill’s Breakdown – Hi everybody! Another week, another JRS issue! This one happened for real, just in the Campus bar terrace.
The End of Moskovskaia (Part 1) – Hello again! Nightly update (American time) of JRS. We’re finishing (literally) the Moskovskaia affair, and how the Age of the Servers really started in Revistes Campus Nord.
* This issue represents a real event, that truly happened.
The End of Moskovskaia (Part 2) – Hello, hello! Finally I have time to draw some stuff. We continue with the death of Moskovskaia and the dawn of the Servers Era at Revistes Campus Nord.
The Cluster (Part 1) – Hello hello! Finally I could finish this week’s (actually last’s) issue. The Surface I brought on tour didn’t let me finish things on time, as it starts flickering after some time working. Luckily I’ll be at home in December, with the good tools to do stuff.
Meanwhile, there’s Steffy and Bill with the Moskovskaia post-mortem.
The Cluster (Part 2) – Hello! I’m back at home in Barcelona, and here I bring the last JSR issue, prepared before packing my stuff.
Casal Stories: The famous “Cheetos-Eater” got 10 machines (this is four times 2.5 machines, and this is terrible) from the Student Council, to build a cluster for his association (in which he was the only member). It was suspected he hid pornography, but not in the same levels of sophistication than the Linux-UPC association. He brought the electric grid down every time he started the cluster.
Closing Magazine (Part 1) – Hello! Finally, a Monday update! Last week I couldn’t finish the strip, so here it is today! I leave you with the usual issue-closing day in l’Oasi Magazine.
Werdley Map – Hello hello! A late night update! Today we have Wardhog maps, as a friend of ours got totally obsessed with them. Good night!
Market Dangers – Hello and welcome another week! Here’s another real story about the weird people of the Campus, 10 years ago. The guy that dared to do this to the magazine’s vice-president’s girlfriend was expelled from every association, for being an idiot. Good night!
Celebration Dinner (Part 1) – Hello again! Another week, another strip. This time with the traditional dinner after selling all the magazines with profits!
Celebration Dinner (Part 3) – We’re back here, with a night at the Toreros. That place is a “restaurant for groups”, with cheap food, cheap beer, and a tourist trap and Erasmus students. Every time we sold the magazines we went to that place because they let us to do some fuzz… until we did too much and they kicked us from there. So we didn’t go back, and looked for ther place (e.g. El Puma or the Merendero Campechano). Once older we settled at the Salamanca, where we’re returning after the pandemic.
Preparations (Part 1) – Here we are, after having this new strip ready, describing real stuff… more or less… Bill appeared with a robe and a ZIP Drive in his neck, bringing the stuff.
We keep going towards FestaFIB!
